Adam is licensed as a Professional Counselor through the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, and certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors and Affiliates, Inc. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services and Psychology from Friends University in Wichita, KS, and his Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS.

Adam has experience working with clients in a variety of settings including alternative/behavior modification schools, community mental health centers, jails, and state foster care agencies. He has worked with clients of all ages in individual, family and group settings. Adam has co-counseled group therapy for adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries as well as led Psychosocial Rehabilitation groups for children and adolescents.

Personal areas of interest for Adam include personality assessment and evaluation, theories of psychology and personality, diagnosis, art therapy, and music therapy.
